Begin your summit attempt around midnight, starting with a steep climb up to Gillman's Point on the crater rim. From here, continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend back to Kibo Hut for a brief rest before continuing down to Horombo Hut for the night. (Total Hiking Time: 10-15 hours)
As the sun rises, descend past Mandara Hut and arrive at Marangu Gate within Kilimanjaro National Park. Triumphant climbers will receive their well-deserved summit certificates.
