During the dry season (June – November), witness wildlife congregating around the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline. Explore varied habitats teeming with over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. After breakfast, set off from Mto wa Mbu towards Central Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game drives en route, traversing lush plains that host an ancient ecosystem. Serengeti is renowned for its resident wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and giraffes. After a half-day game drive in Serengeti, enjoy lunch before driving to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. This region is ideal for viewing lions and leopards, whose territories shift during the dry season. Arrive at Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, this intact volcanic crater is 2 million years old and hosts diverse habitats. The crater’s 600m tall walls encircle a world teeming with over 30,000 animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and Maasai cattle. In the late afternoon, ascend and travel to Kizumba Campsite at Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.
